Food is love.

Love what you eat and who you eat it with.

Dining is never just about the food. It’s about the community. Living at Capitol Lakes means starting your days with coffee or tea in the café, chatting with friends and making plans for the day. After a walk to a nearby lake—we’re kind of surrounded by gorgeous lakes—it’s time for lunch. Today might be farm-to-table sandwiches or seasonal delights sourced from local ingredients. And dinner might be Caribbean food, or it might be traditional Irish food. (We like to celebrate holidays by adding some seasonal flavor to our menus.)

With two on-site restaurants, you can mix it up for each meal. You’ll start to feel like you have a team of private chefs—because, well, you do.

The Capitol Lakes Way

You’ve got health goals, and one of the ways to achieve those goals is through a healthy, balanced diet. Here, healthy never means bland. Mouthwatering flavors are key to achieving that nourishing variety you know and love.

Remember that part of balance is making room for a hearty helping of your favorite comfort foods. Whether you’re craving a fresh summer salad or a slice of decadent cheesecake, our menus are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth, your savory tooth, your Umami tooth—all of the teeth.

You won’t fall into any kind of a culinary rut here. Actually, quite the contrary. Our chefs are true innovators, and they value resident feedback. You may find yourself trying more new foods in your first year at Capitol Lakes than you had in the last decade. Bold claim, we know. Come tour and grab a plate to see what we mean.

Two fine spots to dine, all on-site.

Our two campus establishments are like two different restaurants. Two vibes, two menus, and two atmospheres—both serving up fresh, balanced meals.

Seasons

This one’s the fancier one. May we say, gourmet? It’s gourmet. Our culinary team crafts each dish by hand. The Season’s Dining Room is semiformal and quite elegant. Lamb, smoked duck, and filet mignon are frequently on the menu. Got a special occasion coming up? You can reserve the private dining room for a party—think birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays. You’ll work with our catering team to build a special, customized menu. Plus our staff will come serve it to you in true restaurant fashion.

Henry Street Café

This one’s the more laid-back one. The vibes are just delightful. This is the place our residents have their coffee in the morning. Trust us: You don’t want to talk to them before they’ve had their coffee. Kidding, kidding. This cute café specializes in breakfast and lunch classics. Any soup, salad, or sandwich you can imagine will dance across your taste buds here.

A restaurant in the Capitol Lakes community.

And … now we’re hungry. Hope you are, too.
