We have a wide variety of residences—273, to be exact. Our community includes 154 Independent Living apartments, 30 Assisted Living residences, 12 Memory Support residences and 77 Skilled Nursing/Short-Term Rehabilitation accommodations.

In Independent Living, we offer three apartment styles in a range of sizes: one-bedroom, standard two-bedroom, and two-bedroom plus den. In our higher levels of care we have private, efficiency-style apartments.

Absolutely! Pets are considered part of the family here at Capitol Lakes. We have no pet weight or size restrictions, and we don’t charge any additional fees. As long as your furry friend is well-behaved and properly cared for, they’re more than welcome.

Capitol Lakes residents enjoy an array of premium on-site amenities, from two gourmet dining venues to a state-of-the-art Aquatic & Wellness Center, a library, art galleries, and a serene outdoor patio with a stunning flower garden.

We have two dining options at Capitol Lakes, with menus so varied it’ll feel more like two dozen restaurants:

First up is Seasons, a haven for those seeking an upscale dining affair. Picture an ambience of refined elegance complemented by a menu that’s equally impressive. Think tender lamb, delicately smoked duck and melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon, all expertly prepared to tantalize your taste buds.

Next, we have The Henry Street Café, where comfort meets culinary charm. It’s the perfect spot for a more relaxed dining experience. Whether you’re craving a leisurely breakfast or a satisfying lunch, you’ll find a delightful selection of dishes to enjoy. And you can choose if you’d prefer to sit down and dine in or grab a bite on the go.

You bet we do! We work hard to cater to various dietary requirements and preferences. Our menus feature vegetarian entrees with the option to customize protein choices. We also provide a selection of gluten-free breads and pastas. If you’re seeking heart-healthy options, we clearly label them on the menu. We encourage you to share any dietary modification preferences you may have, because we’re dedicated to accommodating every diner’s preferences, palate, and personal needs.

Our Aquatic & Wellness Center offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment designed for seniors, exercise classes for all ability levels, and two indoor pools (plus a whirlpool!) for a variety of activities.

Train and maintain in style with access to our certified personal trainer and a variety of exercise equipment, including stationary and recumbent exercise bicycles, elliptical trainers, free weights and Keiser circuit training equipment.

Our monthly rates cover a comprehensive range of services to make living independently hassle-free. This includes twice-monthly housekeeping, transportation services, all utilities, a food allowance, access to aquatic and wellness facilities, and various classes. As a non-profit organization, our residents don’t pay property taxes. Feel free to reach out to us for a detailed list of included services.

We offer all levels of care! If you’re an Independent Living resident you pay an entrance fee, granting you priority access and discounted rates for higher levels of care if required in the future. If you need additional care, accommodations will be open to you based on availability, with a flexible month-to-month option.

Our front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, and each resident receives a vigil pendant when moving in. We also work with a third-party security company to further oversee the full property.

If you require parking, you receive one complimentary parking space in our underground heated garage. Friends and family will have access to the parking ramp across the way, and our front desk will validate their pass.

Capitol Lakes offers complimentary transportation to and from doctor appointments (based on availability) as well as weekly shuttle services to grocery stores and shopping malls and on seasonal excursions.
